seven.

I don't think I did very well for my midterms. There's always the "I could have done better" vibe.

I don't want to think. I don't want to predict. I don't want to worry.

I just want to dress up, go out, get my hair done, do some shopping, have a good time and take a proper break.

It's Week 7 and to me it's only the beginning.

the little things

I think it's a miracle I'm still alive.

understanding.

Why do we tend to yearn for the applause of crowds and recognition by our wider social circles, yet overlook the smallest acts of encouragement and support from the people closest to us?

Why are we so fixated on the "greener grass" on the "other side", after we fight hard to get to where we already are?

Why are we always fearful of losing what we already have?

Why can we never be satisfied?

a breather; week 6

What do you do when you discover that the life paths of you and some of your friends diverge? To the extent that you feel awkward even hanging out with them because of the unspoken distance, as much as you don't intend to feel that way?

Oh well.

Still, let's celebrate ties that are strengthened, new bonds that are forged.

After nothing less than a rough week, I'm ready to step up my game. Over the weekend I've had some great company, sound advice, good fun, consoling words- there's nothing more I can ask for.

Lesson of the week: Between good options, either choice will not be a bad one.

黄昏

昏暗中有种烈日灼身的错觉
(I wonder if this actually shows up in other browsers haha.)

I havent written any Chinese for the longest time imaginable so this feels a little weird yet refreshing.

I should be proud of the fact that I'm effectively bilingual! Especially when it comes to appreciating music.

Struck down, but not destroyed.

like a cat in a bag, waiting to drown

The human body is fragile. After surviving the summer unscathed, the flu bug hit me at last.

I said everything is weighing me down. Kais says it's the bug that's weighing me down. But now I think, it's just me.

In fact, it's been too much about me.

So much so that I've been an awful friend, an awful godsis, an awful girlfriend, an awful daughter.

Why do I feel like I'm losing myself?
