good to be back
wheeee i love melbourne! as well as all the small cities around it that i visited. summer just began there so it's sunny every day but there are occasional winds that are pretty cooling. i think i even got a little sunburnt! hmm let's see, did LOTS of sight-seeing, shopping, walking, eating, sleeping..darn im so tired now. can only upload the photos after sis comes back on friday cos she took my camera. heh okay shall update when they are ready!

ahhhhh ive been sneezing non-stop for 2 days already, thanks to the sleepless nights that were sacrificed for watching
stairway to heaven. but i finally finished writing MOST of the autographs heh. products of procastination :p hmm anyway sis already left for melbourne last week and we'll be joining her there tomorrow! wheeee. oh well i can foresee that i'll be terribly bored going on daytours with my folks alone so ive prepared my own entertainment haha. oh yes that silly girl did some recordings on the video camera, as if she's filming mtv or something, and forgot to delete them! HOHOHO dad played them on tv and we had a good laugh mans.

right. it feels weird. no more chinese. no more english. no more maths. no more social studies. no more history. no more literature. no more biology. no more chemistry. no more physics.
sighh im crazy but i miss school :( okay the past two days were packed - a whole bunch of us hung out in town after chem paper til pretty late, then i went home to catch my kwon sang-woo. woke up early to continue watching and i almost
died at the shower scene hoho. kwon has a terrific hot bod! :D:D:D then went shopping with tammy yesterday..woohooo i finally pierced my ears! FINALLY. i dont know why but it hurt like hell, and it's not supposed to. heh and there's council farewell later in the evening..can't wait!

just watched singapore idol that got me so high. i loved taufik's performances! As much as i support sylvester i think he was the weakest tonite. olinda was good, especially her first song. ahhhh wish i can catch the show at indoor stadium.
anyway amath was okay today, just that i only realised my mistake in the relative velocity question at the last minute and it was too late. heh but one last hurdle to cross tomorrow and it's goodbye to the grueling marathon (:

an jing was awesome! just tt he lacks a little soulfulness which jay chou has. taufik's first song was good, though i had no idea what he was singing :p it amazes me how he never fails to hit all the high notes! oh and olinda did very well too..somehow ive got a hunch that she will win eventually.

higher chinese - my zuowen seemed 'empty', lack of content or something. paper2 compre wasn't easy.
social studies - quite okay except for the ridiculous 6-mark inference question.
english - my informal letter sounded as if it was written by a 4-year-old kid.
history - didn't study the sourcebased chapter in detail. wrote "similiar to a similar extent" when i meant "similar to a small extent". wow.
literature - arghh misinterpreted the prose and had a good cry over it.
maths/amath - pretty okay.
biology - *frowns*

some interesting facts about korean dramas
two main typical kinds of agonisingly enjoyable scenes in korean drama serials:
1. the girl who just regains her memory runs amok around the art gallery and the camera zooms into her frantic face for 5 full minutes. meanwhile, he slowly saunters in her direction, accompanied by bodyguards and the third-party bitch. finally she comes to a halt 6 feet away in front of him. she takes a few steps gingerly towards him, until she is up close. tears start welling up in her eyes as they gaze fervantly into his. she has a mountain of words choked up at the tip of her tongue; she wants to tell him that she is the girl he has been looking for all along, yet she can't bring herself to say anything. after 30 seconds, she collapses into his arms. he holds her and asks, "are you alright?" (in korean, of cos). she couldn't answer, and continues gazing at him for another 5 minutes. then the third party bitch nudges his arm and urges him to leave. his eyes lingered on her for another 30 seconds before he walks away slowly, while the girl stares after him, still dumbfounded.
2. in an attempt to find her, he walks into her home, his fingers landing lightly on each piece of furniture as he passes. although in actual fact she's dying to see him, she hides in the storeroom because she doesn't want him to see her in her sorry state (in this case, she has lost her sight). after the dejected guy leaves the house, the girl emerges from her hiding place, obviously overwhelmed by regret as she shouts his name for him to come back, but alas, he can't hear as he's already far away.
i just love korean drama serials, don't you? (:

stairway to heaven! although i barely watched a few episodes. but im gona finish it after Os!! the story is soooo cliche but still extremely tragic. oh yes and the hunky kwon sang-woo is starring in it hoho. even mom thinks he's good-looking! (:

emath p2 was good today, just hope there aren't any silly careless mistakes made. im currently hooked on some new korean drama as well as ren wo ao you and im a die-hard fatal case!! ahhhhh. so im really thankful for the next 30plus hours available to study bio (:
