first impressions

well it wasnt that bad after all. was quite surprised at the fact that there were only 13 fourtwelvers in hc, but still the entire place was flooded with chinese high and nanyang people as expected. bleugh. i was just telling nic in the audi when they flashed the OG list that approximately out of every 5 names at least 3 are from either school. my OG is urm, full of UNUSUAL people heh. peishan from rg was super funny; we were laughing our heads off half the time during the mass dances. too bad she's in science..it'd be great if i have such classmates again!

the school system seems pretty good, and there's no doubt that it's extremely academically oriented. the countless enrichment talks early in the morning on the first day of school proved this. i believe the majority of us were struggling to keep awake! somehow im a little scared after all those talks. stressed? definitely. yea it's crazy to feel stressed on day 1 but there are really many expectations to be met. i mean, there are subjects like econs and GP that are rather difficult to do very well in, and they are important to me since i intend to take either law or social sciences in the future. anyway ive decided on hist elit econs math, which ive wanted all along. initially i couldnt quite decide between elit or LEP haha but overseas trips to england did sound very appealing :D put A2b as 2nd choice though i dont know if im supposed to do CL'A' or what for the 4th subject.

btw the mass dances are..weird? hahaa okay let's just say i hope there are better ones. oh yes some tch guy fell accidentally and i took a step back unknowingly and stepped on his fingers! :S oh dear.
