Scene 1Setting: old, run-down kopitiam
People: stallholder, guy friend, girl
The two friends eat and chat with the seemingly amiable stallholder. stallholder excuses himself, saying he has some business to settle, and disppears behind a door hidden from sight. friend gets up, excuses himself. the next moment, girl is being chased and hunted down by friend and stallholder. girl dies under the merciless chopper...
Scene 2
Setting: house, living room
People: 3 siblings - 1 brother, 2 sisters
Brother demonstrates an extremely queer method to make tinted glass windows. The colours are created out of nowhere. sisterX is fascinated, while sisterY isn't. sisterY faints upon realizing that the red dye comes from blood...
Scene 3
Setting: desolate neighbourhood
People: girl
girl finds herself all alone in an unfamiliar environment. buildings she has never seen before. places she has never set foot upon. she feels as if she has just arrived from another world, another realm. in this neighbourhood, the few people - who look strangely familiar - walk pass her without acknowledging her presence. she calls her friend on her handphone in exasperation. her friend, in a matter-of-fact tone, tells her to make her way to a particular building, where she will find her. girl asks for direction from a guy. Guy glances at her, then scrutinizes her, reaches out and strangles her...
Scene 4
Setting: neighbourhood
People: girl
She's back again. This time she notices two of her good friends - one guy and one girl - walking alone the pavement. Overjoyed, she approaches them and is about to call out to them when she suddenly realises that each of them is carrying a chopper. She makes a detour and runs away. The two, upon noticing her, give chase. She puts up a brave and clever fight, and escapes...
i dont really know what they mean. i woke up feelin as if i just emerged from a Hotel de Dream-like or a Truman Show-like world. it was freaky. no, i wont wana be psychoanalysed. haha.
what a nitemare.
