this Easter..

i conclude that the root cause of the recent spate of unhappy events is excessive and unnecessary tauntings and provocation, leading to harsh words and actions in return. i believe "trash talking" does not come about without a cause. i finally get the whole picture now. in retrospect, i cant help but think that many a time people tend to make a mountain out of a molehill. if only some things can be taken more lightly. if only.

who defines the "principles" of a team? having played team sports myself,
i realised that these "principles" more often than not have been abused to become a vantage point for criticism and discrimination of individuals. yes, a team's welfare and diginity supercedes that of an individual, but what fundamentally upholds the good name of a team is mutual respect amongst its members, former or existing. if a team actually displays blatant prejudice against a member without any form of restraint, i really question the kind of "principles" that this team abides by.

perhaps im not in a very apt position to interfere or comment, given that the mindset of the opposite gender may differ, and that i dont even play the sport with which the issue is concerned. i just feel it's unfortunate that things have to turn ugly even at this stage. whats the point of getting "even"? both parties get hurt at the end of the day.

it was been an emotionally draining week. Good Friday was just over, which probably explains why ive been more thoughtful than usual. shall chuck the entire thing to the back of my mind. just in time for Easter.

i reckon it's again my turn to win some or learn some
