upsanddowns

my man just related to me how his wing comm broke the news of capt ho's death to them in brunei. almost a week late, though, cos they were still charging through the jungles/ climbing the mountains when the tragedy occurred. heart-wrenching indeed =/ tears glistened in his eyes even as he talked about his late pc, whom he described as a "very nice guy". well, from the various comments i've heard, it seems capt ho did run a good race. what a true soldier of God.

i guess we all need some kind of reality check sometimes. my man came back, more appreciative of the shelter over his head, the food lain before him daily, the girl he calls his own (:

oh i darkened my hair at last! goodbye to yucky chlorine-bleached brown streaks. it still looks a little brownish-red at the top and i've no idea why, but overall it's supposedly "dark chestnut" coloured now. i miss dark hair (: oh and my hairdresser today is pretty impressive- she could tell i use Dove shampoo cos she said she's "very familiar with the smell" haha!
