food and people

when you have the best of both worlds, it's as if you feel heaven.

headed down to fish&co glasshouse with wenyen es duan after lect on friday! extremely overrated place i know but seriously WHO CARES. as wenyen remarked, it's the first time ever the bunch of us gets to eat out together. out of school, that is. usually it'd be either the deck or subway before the dreary 6pm southasian lect last sem =/ jacq was supposed to join us but she had family matters to attend to; we still love her (: anyway it's great to just chill out before the tutorials begin and school gets into full swing.

seems like school life's still pretty laid-back at this point for me, as compared to, say, the madrush that the law folks are going through, which michy can vouch for! apparently they've already begun haunting the library. nonetheless that sweetheart accompanied me to test-try the new olio outlet at hollandv that very evening haha. love the food, love the portions (giant-perfect), love the atmosphere. and basically she got me mentally prepared for the early birthday treat which i planned for pf the next day (: just thinking about the blast of a weekend makes me wana smile myself silly.

just a few more minutes to my man's twentieth :D we are growing older. and hopefully, wiser. hmm which reminds me of a little talk i had with my girlies. i figured that i can't wait to turn 20 simply because the very process of growing up is symbolic and i love every minute of it. it's not so much about getting older and bidding TEEN-age years goodbye, but more about being able to make important decisions, to bear greater responsibility, to make heartfelt commitments, to be stronger, and in the midst of it all, have more fun (: alrighty time to call soon!
