random

1. one of my most comfy driving shoes split into half on my way to lesson today, but i had no means of replacing it on time so essentially i drove for 1.5 hours with half a shoe intact and with my toes sticking out. but no mishaps on the road/ when parking, thank goodness.

2. some cabbie honked very loudly when i slowed down to make a turn, and my instructor reached over and honked back in retaliation before bursting out in hysterical laughter. looks like stressed-out undergrads aren't the only cranky people i know at this point in time.
