America ain't Heartless after all
i think adam lost not because he wasn't fantastic, but because he was too perfect throughout the competition- most of the time it was perfect technique, perfect pitch, perfect stage presence, perfect song choice. maybe a little imperfection would have worked, as it did in the case of kris :) he prolly makes us feel as human as he is. besides, i feel that moms dads grannies teenagers kids are all likely to buy kris' album, but not as many will buy adam's.sigh. as AI, amazing race, ANTM, survivor have ended their run for the year, this reality show junkie here is feeling a lil deprived. but ohyes, there's SYTYCD coming up :)
by the way, it totally sucks to fall ill at this point in time. slight panic was written all over the receptionist's face when i said i'm running a fever, and she looked more worried when my temperature turned out to be 39 deg. the doctor also scrambled for a mask before examining me. anyway it is believed to be a case of food poisoning, which set off the high fever. i don't know if it's one of the stalls at suntec food republic or that at ps foodcourt that turned my stomach inside out, but i will definitely think twice before visiting them again.
