12 days

met this interesting old man while doing some random Christmas shopping. he first made a comment abt some Christmas decorations before launching into his life story. said smth about how his brother (or brother-in-law, i cant rmb) was called to be a pastor at a certain church, and how his sisters came to Christ too. then he told me tt in 1977 he met an accident in jb while on a mission trip, broke his head and fell into a coma. docs said it would take a long time before he wakes up and even if he does, he'd lose his memory. at the critical stages, docs estimated tt he wouldnt survive beyond 10 days. his eyes lit up when he spoke of how a miracle allowed him to wake up within half a month and that he could still remember all his family members. he then went on to ask abt my family's religion and said he hoped tt i would "achieve great things by God's grace". heh i thought that was really nice of him.

Christmas makes me think alot.
