a month's OVER

and it's time to get back to work! haha all im feeling now is a queer mix of excitement and trepidation. i miss my little kiddos sooo much but im dreading the early morning alarm and the few wailing brats. of cos there's also the new teacher who's due to replace me real soon. i've seen her once or twice when she came for interviews but i don't know if she's the kind who'll be willing to take instructions and advice from someone half her age, namely yours truly. shrug. my mind's full of what-ifs -- what if she's too quiet? (my colleagues and i agree she looks like it, but well looks can always be deceiving) what if i end up doing all the work for her? what if she's so overwhelmed that she quits the very next day? haha the latter's pretty extreme but anything's possible. in fact, such appalling incidents have happened before. a fellow newbie literally walked out on the job after only one and a half weeks. hmm, we'll see how it goes then!
