730 days and counting

"maybe there's really someone up there arranging all these."

this remark of yours is deeply etched in my mind. i'd prefer to believe that yes indeed things are destined to be the way they are now. you said you're fortunate to be able to remain at ocs which is so near both yours and my place, instead of some ulu camp where buses can't even access. absolutely. you said you're fortunate to be in foxtrot where compassion and reason are not compromised by discipline and rules. absolutely. you said you're fortunate that infantry life isn't (or has yet to be) as hectic as your counterparts in support arms. absolutely.

for me, a new chapter is beginning in uni, as you're whisked away to preparatory fieldcamps and brunei and taiwan. doesnt matter you dont comprehend the reasons for pulling my hair out over module systems, or i can't empathize fully with the rigours of your various exercises-- it's always the little things that make us happy (: a little gesture, a gentle touch, a kind word, a simple prayer, a sensual gaze.

here's a toast to our future, my man.
