the day pretty women reigned the court

or so the media claimed. pretty true though (: i thought sharapova was a well-deserved winner at the australian open, though i was actually rooting for ivanovic. both played some very fine tennis and im very tempted now to pick up my racket and give it a go. ohyes, the aspiring words of the legendary billie jean king, "champions take chances, and pressure is a privilege", are worth pondering over.
