pandemic woes

The tension is apparent.

Both Japan and Australia have just been declared affected areas- Osaka and Victoria respectively, to be exact, where I have fervently hoped and planned to visit. Dad has just stocked up on protective masks. Sis' superiors are going all out to 'advise' her against travelling. ANU's unusual prolonged lack of response to my request for accommodation on the 27th raises much paranoia in me, as i wonder if they're considering cancelling the programme altogether. (I really hope i'm worrying too much.) I have recently taken my flu jab. Everyone's trying desperately to stay healthy.

I'm praying very very hard that the situation will not spin out of control.
