perspectives.
Jack is terrified of the burning flame in any form. Jill knows it full well. Once, there was a bonfire set up, and Jack, hoping to get over his fear, edged closer and closer to it. While doing so, he noticed Jill light a cigarette some distance away. It wasn't the first time he's seen Jill using a lighter, but he was freaked out all the same. Little did he realise he was stepping too close to the bonfire and before he knew it, he stumbled into the bonfire and got burnt. Jack was utterly enraged and insisted that he was a victim of Jill lighting up, and that he never ever wanted to see Jill again.
The truth of the matter is, Jill should never have used and should never use again the lighter in Jack's presence. Jack had all the right to be mad at Jill for lighting up but not for the fact that he got burnt because he could have taken more care to avoid the bonfire altogether.
