thy love

my cip event (supposedly named "Child at Heart" haha!) was finally held yesterday (: weeks of prep in the midst of busy school schedules did paid off. largest credit goes to my dearest boy! :D i witnessed his leadership skills for the first time and i must say im impressed. of cos, the bunch from 3F is simply fantastic too! these people can work in a team mans, esp people like weishern matilda jade. goodness, i havent encountered such meticulous and dedicated people for ages. it's quite a pity i only really got to interact with most of them during the event itself. it was only then that i discovered that what pengs said was true - his classmates ARE a nice bunch (: haha i find jon foo and zhaohan especially AMUSING. like what pengs said, it's exactly funny crazy people like them who spice up school life.

the event itself was pretty much a success (: although the programme was delayed by more than 30min at the start but we managed to make it to our designated stops on time. and it turned out to be a blessing in disguise that some of the kids couldnt make at the last minute - 2 kids to 1 volunteer is really quite a chore. even before we arrived at the zoo i was so relieved to hand geoyi over to qiaoqi; watching over geoyi AND gerald was simply mission impossible. throughout the day the kids screamed wailed cried laughed smiled snacked ran skipped. apparently we drew many stares from the plethora of tourists. the pictures that hanyang took were stunning! (i found out later that he was hired as a photographer for some book before. cool eh?) hope he can upload them soon! haha there are so many classic moments during the event that i wont ever forget mans. damien who lies down EVERYWHERE and ANYWHERE - the aircon shelter, the benches, the playground; jade telling alena that the ostrich egg on display that it's a "giraffe egg"; geoyi-the-doubtlessly-cutest-ever kid alive; joshua who dropped his slipper into some enclosure; peeling KFC chicken drumstick piece by piece for my adorable buddykid gerald; babyboy's interesting knowledge of the orgasms of the lioness and the pig; rachel-the-little-flirt who smooched my boy SEVEN times, wants him and jon foo "altogether", and also wishes to marry gerald; the mad chase after joshua geoyi daniel gerald khughan; jonathan the oh-so-vocal kiddo; poor zhiwei being traumatised by seann; daniel who polished off numerous hp batts with his game addiction... and the list goes on. i think im suffering from withdrawal symptoms. im supposed to be mugging but apparently im not.

this memory is smth i'd hold dear to for the rest of my life. no regrets.
