cabbies never fail to amuse me.

hmm my arms (tricpes biceps whatever) are aching like crazy from yesterday's rockclimbing course. i can't even close my arms properly! well before it began i didn't know what to expect from the session in the little stuffy rock gym that's badly in need of ventilation. we started off with some bouldering ('free' climbing) and i was barely midway through my 2nd attempt or so when i fell, unglamourously, and scraped my poor butt against the rock wall =/ then we moved on to learn how to tie knots, how to recognise and handle the various equipment etc. the instructor wasn't entirely boring, but i was having trouble keeping awake. the others later claimed that michy and i looked "attentive". haha i guess sleeping with our eyes open was a vital skill mastered back in hc. oh and i burst out laughing when michy was asked to try and "squeeze" the carabiner attached to his harness at his front, and she gave this reeeally AWKWARD look omg i just couldn't help it :D anyway, i actually managed to get to the top of one of the walls during assessment after a million attempts, and also i'm now a CERTIFIED belayer :D anyone who wants to climb at safra or something, tell me!
