keeping up

felt so good to get onto the netball courts again after a 2-week hiatus (: my team's back together once more and im so thankful for the bunch of girlies. i realised we're an AGGRESSIVE lot - melissa whacked someone's contact lenses out of her eyes, t-yunn slammed the ball right into some guy's face, and i knocked an opponent's specs off the first time, rammed the same girl down to the ground the second time round =/ unintentionally okaayy. but well, any sport that doesn't involve aggression isn't really a sport. the worst/stupidest injuries are those that are inflicted upon oneself unknowingly. i just happened to be randomly walking back to my position on the court when i somehow twisted my left ankle AGAIN. i lost count of the number of times this has happened since secondary school man. but i just kept going anyway, cos the pain's hardly felt when one's into a game.

hmm now it's starting to swell. damn.

ohh btw on the way home melissa said something like i seem "more like a Scorpio than an Aries", like huhhh i need to find out what that meant! we were too engrossed in emo songs by daughtry and avril lavigne (x they're not supposed to mean anything special but why can't i stop myself from feeling that way.

okay, time to ice that ankle now.
