by the way, been youtube-ing ANTM cycle 11 (: last season they had a somalian girl who as a child had been forced to undergo horrific rites of passage, this season there's a transvestite and a jap-korean with admittedly fake boobs. perhaps interesting elements like these work well for viewership.
