work-from-home 2
Yupp, another day spent at home instead of the office :) I haven't quite started on what I should but I would! Soon. After I'm done feeling lazy. It's such a joy chatting with like-minded friends from all walks of life. Yesterday liz simply slumped into a chair at a nearby desk and we just talked about everything from school to SATC to fashion to coffee mixers to renting properties. This girl amuses me all the time. When we first met she made a wild (and inaccurate) guess that I was an rgs girl because I supposedly have a "cynical tone" of voice. A few days ago she told me about her friend's fb status, something along the lines of, congrats to sumiko tan getting married at last; who's next - lee wei ling? HAHA priceless right. Then yesterday she said she could envision me enjoying life/culture in the eastern side of the US. I mean, where did that come from?! Tskkk.
Oh, I bought a book for timmy last night. Bon jovi autobiography. Inspirational material, in his words. A rather apt gift before he begins his degree course in August, I would say. We finally had the chance - without too much fatigue plaguing us - to share some of our thoughts about career and music and people we know. In particular I was telling him about the Slash interview I read in the papers. The notorious legend mentioned that musicians tend to be rather self-centred, and having a family/kids somewhat taught him that there're in fact other people and events that deserve much care and attention. I wasn't expecting that, really. That made me sit up. Makes alot of sense eh?
Thinking alot makes me hungry. Bye for now world.
