getaway

I broke a personal record this holiday. The 13-hour bumpy coach ride (with meal/toilet breaks here and there of cos) to cameron highlands almost gave me deep vein thrombosis. Or at least i felt so. thankfully the journey wasn't a waste, cos the trip was rather enjoyable. Not exactly very much fun but enjoyable. Technically i equate travelling without parents + attempting unfamiliar adventurous activities to fun, so yea. "To embrace nature" was the reason my folks gave for proposing this chinese new year getaway, and true enough, there were visits to the tea plantation, rose farm, cactus farm and of cos strawberry farm haha. And apparently my folks weren't the only ones to choose such a laid-back holiday cos there were many many other Singaporeans on the same trip as well. Speaking of which, i got to witness some ugly behaviour of our counterparts (ah, what's new) and i'll probably write more about it soon.
